While school-based health centres (SBHC) and school-based health programs have been established practice in the USA for over 70 years, they remain relatively under-represented in Australia and New Zealand. There are some wonderful examples of pioneers across Australasia setting up small-scale programs, often at a single school and with a single health professional on board, but until relatively recently there has been little developed at scale or in cooperation between multiple sites and/or providers.
